Submitting
- Where to submit a CAR
On the state highway network, an Early Access Request, a TMP and a generic TMP are lodged in myWorksites by choosing "NZTA Nationwide" as the road controlling authority. A TMP lodged there is not an application for a Corridor Access Request, so where a CAR is needed it is applied for outside myWorksites.

- TMP submission
For state highway work, lodge an Early Access Request in myWorksites before the TMP. It does not result in a CAR. If a CAR or other permit has already been issued, its ID can be added to the request, and it must be given by the time the TMP goes to NZTA. A reusable generic TMP (PARS) is lodged separately as a "Global Permit".
